In December 2024, the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI) approved an FDI proposal and granted investment privileges for the FDI of THB 10.5 billion (USD 311.6 million) by UniEQ Integrated Technology Co Ltd to build a factory for semiconductor equipment.
