Brazil: Increased import tariffs for processing machines and driving bogies (January 2025)

In January 2025, the Brazilian government modified Annexes II and VI of GECEX Resolution No. 272 of November 2021. These annexes correspond to the different import duties from the common external tariff (TEC) that the MERCOSUR Member States can maintain under article 50, item "d", of the 1980 Montevideo Treaty and the List of Exceptions for Computer and Telecommunications Goods and Capital Goods (LEBIT/BK list).
