In April 2009, the members of SACU imposed a provisional duty and a definitive duty was imposed in November 2009. In May 2015, the definitive duty was extended for a new period following the conclusion of a sunset review. In July 2020, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in December 2021.
