In November 2024, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of overhead door counterbalance torsion springs from China and India. In April 2025, a provisional duty was imposed. In January 2026, a definitive duty was imposed on imports from China. The investigation concerning imports from India is still in progress.
