In November 2024, the United States initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of overhead door counterbalance torsion springs from China and India. In June 2025, a provisional duty was imposed on imports from China and India. In January 2026, a definitive duty was imposed on imports from China. The investigation concerning imports from India is still in progress.
