In November 2023, the Russian government announced the allocation of around RUB 25.43 billion (USD 285.59 million) in financial grants to support research and development activities by local companies in 2024. It constitutes a RUB 18.8 billion (USD 211.13 million) increase compared to the total regular budget of this state aid scheme in 2023, which was around RUB 6.63 billion (USD 74.46 million).
