Argentina: Subsidies for Oil Production and Exports

On 1 January 2015, the government of Argentina announced that it will subsidize oil productiona as well as oil exports by up to USD 6 per barrel. The program is temporary and was announced to last for 12 months. It can be extended for another 12 months.
