In April 2024, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid from China and India. In September 2024, a provisional duty was imposed on imports from China and India. In May 2025, a definitive duty was imposed on imports from China and India.
