In May 2024, the Canadian authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain concrete reinforcing bar from Bulgaria, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates. In September 2024, a provisional duty was imposed. In January 2025, a definitive duty was imposed.
