In December 2008, the European Commission initiated a sunset review and extended the definitive duty on imports of certain ring binder mechanisms from China, Vietnam and Laos in February 2010. In November 2014, a new sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended in May 2016. In May 2021, a new sunset review was initiated.
