In December 2014, the government of Turkiye initiated a new safeguard investigation and definitive duties were imposed in June 2015. In February 2018, a sunset review was initiated and the duty was extended in August 2018. In January 2021, a review was initiated. In August 2021, the safeguard measure was extended.
