Russia and Belarus: Duty-free importation of tomatoes within a tariff-rate quota

In January 2023, the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission authorised the duty-free importation of tomatoes into Russia and Belarus within a 100'000-tonne and 6'000-tonne tariff rate quotas respectively. The normally applicable customs duty rates vary between 10% and 15%. The measure will come into force on 8 February 2024.
