In September 2014, the government of Mexico initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain types of carbon steel pipe from India, Spain and the United States of America. In August 2016, a definitive duty was imposed. In April 2021 a sunset review was initiated. In October 2022, the definitive duty was terminated on imports originating from Spain. In October 2022, the definitive duty on imports from India and the United States was extended for a new period. In April 2026, a sunset review was initiated.
