In July 2023, the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport announced the launch of a financial grant scheme to support the climate-friendly supply of aircraft with ground power at airports. The scheme supports the development of new technologies as well as eligible companies' investment in ground-side equipment for commercial airports.
