In June 2023, the United States initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain paper shopping bags from Cambodia, China, Colombia, India, Malaysia, Portugal, Chinese Taipei, Turkiye, and Vietnam. In May 2024, a definitive duty was imposed on imports originating from Turkey. In July 2024, a definitive duty was imposed on imports originating from Cambodia, China, Colombia, India, Malaysia, Portugal, Chinese Taipei, Turkiye, and Vietnam.
