In August 2014, the government of Mexico initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of ammonium sulfate from China and the United States of America. In February 2015, provisional duties were imposed. In October 2015, definitive duties were imposed. In September 2018, an anti-circumvention investigation was initiated, and the definitive duty was extended to the subject goods in June 2019. In October 2020, a sunset review was initiated, and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in March 2022. In May 2022, the duty was temporarily suspended. In November 2022, the duty suspension was extended for one year. In November 2023, the duty suspension was extended for one year. In September 2024, the duty on imports from China was terminated, while the duty on imports from the United States was reintroduced. In October 2025, a sunset review was initiated on imports from the United States. In December 2025, the duty on imports from the United States was terminated.
