Brazil: Definitive antidumping duty on imports of plastic syringes from China following the COVID-19 outbreak

In September 2009, the government of Brazil imposed a definitive duty following the conclusion of an antidumping investigation. In September 2014, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended in September 2015. In March 2020, the definitive duty was suspended temporarily following the COVID-19 outbreak. In June 2020, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for the duration of the review period from 1 October 2020. In January 2021, the duty was temporarily suspended for a second time. In June 2023, the duty was reinstated.
