In May 2023, the Italian national development bank Cassa Deposit e Prestiti and the European Commission granted a total of EUR 100 million to the Italian company Be Charge to promote the development of electric mobility infrastructure and accelerate the energy transition through the construction of a large high-speed charging network in Europe.
