In April 2023, the South Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced the conclusion of an agreement to provide KRW 100 billion in export financing to the South Korean defence industry. It also announced the allocation of KRW 278.1 billion to the civil-military technical cooperation project in 2023.
