In November 2022, the central government of China issued a transfer of agricultural payments of a total of CNY 211.5 billion (approximately USD 30 billion) for boosting agricultural production and for continuous food supply. The funds are to be administered by the local governments based on detailed allocation plans that are reported to the Ministry of Finance.
