In January 2023, the National Bank for Economic and Social Development of Brazil (BNDES in Portuguese) provided capital, a loan and a loan guarantee to Sistema de Trens Metropolitanos de São Paulo S.A. The beneficiary is a joint venture between CCR Group and the Ruasinvest Group, two Brazilian companies, that is the concessionaire of the São Paulo metro.
