In December 2022, Japan Bank for International Cooperation signed a loan agreement totalling up to USD 30 million with PT Perusahaan Perseroan and PT Pertamina, to finance decarbonisation projects in Indonesia. Additionally, the bank also provided a USD 20 million guarantee so the companies could access private funding from other commercial banks.
