In December 2008, the Canadian authorities extended for a new period the definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of hollow structural sections made of carbon and alloy steel from the Republic of Korea, Türkiye, and South Africa. In April 2013, a sunset review was initiated. In December 2013, the definitive duty on imports from the Republic of Korea and Türkiye was extended for a new period, and the definitive duty on imports from South Africa was terminated. In December 2018, a sunset review was initiated on imports from the Republic of Korea and Türkiye, and the definitive duty was extended for the new period in October 2019. In September 2024, a sunset review was initiated on imports from the Republic of Korea and Türkiye, and the definitive duty was extended for the new period in July 2025.
