In November 2010, the Canada's export credit agency Export Development Canada (EDC) approved financial support for various Canadian exporters (extractive-mining (ma'aden raz az zawr aluminum smelter project )) for an export sale to Ma'aden Aluminium Company from Saudi Arabia.
