In April 2009, the government of India extended the definitive duty imposed on imports of nylon tyre cord fabric from China for a new period. In April 2014, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in June 2015. In November 2019, a new sunset review was initiated. In December 2020, the definitive duty was terminated.

Anti-dumping
On September 16, 2008, the Indian authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of nylon tyre cord fabric, used for reinforcement of tyres, from China.
