In July 2010, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) of the U.S. Department of Commerce (DoC) approved USD 16.5 million in funding to E.N.M.R. Telephone Cooperative to expand the deployment of broadband infrastructure in New Mexico and Texas.
