In February 2010, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) of the U.S. Department of Commerce (DoC) approved USD 99.7 million in funding to Keystone Initiative for Network Based Education and Research to expand the deployment of broadband infrastructure in Pennsylvania.
