In March 2010, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) of the U.S. Department of Commerce (DoC) approved USD 32.2 million in funding to Navajo Tribal Utility Authority to expand the deployment of broadband infrastructure in Arizona, New Mexico and Utah.
