Canada: Federal government invests in high-speed Internet in Manitoba

In January 2018, Wekitowak Communications secured CAD 33.5 million (USD 26.8 million) in federal funding for a high-speed Internet project in Manitoba. The company also secured a commitment of CAD 20 million (USD 16 million) in the form of an in-kind grant from the provincial government of Manitoba.
