In October 2018, the United States initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of mattresses from China. In June 2019, a provisional duty was imposed. In December 2019, a definitive duty was imposed. In November 2024, a sunset review was initiated, and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in May 2025.
