In October 2018, the United States initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of strontium chromate from Austria and France. The investigation is still in progress. In May 2019, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In November 2019, a definitive duty was imposed. In October 2024, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in April 2025.
