In November 2017, the United States initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of forged steel fittings from China, Italy and Chinese Taipei. The investigation is still in progress. In May 2018, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In November 2018, a definitive duty was imposed. In August 2023, a sunset review was initiated.
