United States of America: Extension of definitive antidumping duties on imports of common alloy aluminum sheet from China

In December 2017, the United States initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of common alloy aluminium sheet from China. The investigation is still in progress. In June 2018, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In February 2019, a definitive duty was imposed. In August 2022, an anti-circumvention investigation on imports from China was initiated. In July 2023, an anti-circumvention investigation on imports from the Republic of Korea was initiated. In December 2023, the anti-circumvention investigation on imports from the Republic of Korea was terminated. In January 2024, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in September 2024 (the applicable duty extension month is August 2024).
