In July 2016, the United States initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of dioctyl terephthalate from Rep. of Korea. The investigation is still in progress. In February 2017, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In August 2017, a definitive duty was imposed. In July 2022, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in August 2023.
