In August 2016, the United States initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of emulsion styrene-butadiene rubber from Brazil, Rep. of Korea, Mexico and Poland. The investigation is still in progress. In February 2017, a provisional duty was imposed. In September 2017, a definitive duty was imposed. In August 2022, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in August 2023.
