In April 2016, the United States initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of ferrovanadium from Rep. of Korea. In November 2016, a provisional duty was imposed. In May 2017, a definitive duty was imposed. In April 2022, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in November 2022.
