In January 2016, the United States initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of large residential washers from China. In July 2016, a provisional duty was imposed. In February 2017, a definitive duty was imposed. In January 2022, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in August 2022.
