United States of America: Extension of anti-dumping duty on imports of monosodium glutamate from China and Indonesia

In October 2013, the United States initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of monosodium glutamate from China and Indonesia. The investigation is still in progress. In May 2014, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In November 2014, a definitive duty was imposed. In October 2019, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in November 2020. In MAy 2024, an anti-circumvention investigation on imports from Malaysia was initiated. In October 2025, a sunset review was initiated.
