United States of America: Extension of anti-dumping duty on imports of large power transformers from the Republic of Korea

In August 2011, the United States initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of large power transformers from Rep. of Korea. The investigation is still in progress. In February 2012, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In August 2012, a definitive duty was imposed. In July 2017, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in October 2018. In September 2023, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in September 2024 (duty extension applicable from August 2024).
