In October 2009, the United States initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipe from China. In April 2010, a provisional duty was imposed. In November 2010, a definitive duty was imposed. In October 2015, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in March 2016. In February 2021, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in September 2021.
