In April 2020, the United States initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of prestressed concrete steel wire strand from Argentina, Colombia, Egypt, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Chinese Taipei, Tunisia, Turkiye, Ukraine and United Arab Emirates. In September 2020, a provisional duty was imposed on Argentina, Colombia, Egypt, Indonesia, Netherlands, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Chinese Taipei, Turkiye and United Arab Emirates. In November 2020, a provisional duty was imposed on Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, South Africa, Spain, Tunisia and Ukraine. In February 2021, a definitive duty was imposed on Argentina, Colombia, Egypt, Netherlands, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Chinese Taipei, Turkiye and United Arab Emirates. In June 2021, a definitive duty was imposed on Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, South Africa, Spain, Tunisia and Ukrain. In January 2026, a sunset review was initiated.
