United States of America: Extension of definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of Acetone from Belgium, Rep of Korea, Singapore, South Africa, Spain (Initiation and subsequent termination of anti-dumping investigation on imports from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia)

In March 2019, the United States initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of acetone from Belgium, Rep. of Korea, Singapore, South Africa, Spain and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In April 2019, the anti-dumping investigation was terminated from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In August 2019, a provisional duty was imposed on Singapore and Spain. In September 2019, a provisional duty was imposed on Belgium, Rep. of Korea and South Africa. The investigation is still in progress. In December 2019, a definitive duty was imposed on Singapore and Spain. In March 2020, a definitive duty was imposed on Belgium, Rep. of Korea and South Africa. In November 2024, a sunset review was initiated, and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in February 2026.
