United States of America: Definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of rubber bands from China and Thailand (Initiation and subsequent termination of anti-dumping investigation on imports from Sri Lanka)

In February 2018, the United States initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of rubber bands from China, Sri Lanka and Thailand. In March 2018, the anti-dumping investigation was terminated from Sri Lanka. In September 2018, a provisional duty was imposed on China and Thailand. In February 2019, a definitive duty was imposed on China. In April 2019, a definitive duty was imposed on Thailand. In January 2024, a sunset review on imports originating from China and Thailand was initiated.
