In November 2009, the government of the United States imposed a definitive antidumping duty on imports of diamond sawblades and parts thereof from China. In December 2013, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in September 2015. In August 2020, a new sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in April 2021.
