In November 2010, the government of the United States initiated a sunset review on imports of granular polytetrafluoroethylene resin from Italy and Japan. In January 2011, the definitive duty was terminated on imports from Japan. The definitive duty was extended for a new period in July 2011. In June 2016, a sunset review was initiated. In August 2016, the definitive duty was terminated on imports from Italy.
