In February 2020, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of certain vertical shaft engines between 223cc and 999cc and parts thereof from China. In July 2020, a provisional duty was imposed. In March 2021, a definitive duty was imposed. In February 2026, a sunset review was initiated.
