In January 2020, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of forged steel fluid end blocks from China, Germany, India and Italy. The investigation is still in progress. In May 2020, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In January 2021, a definitive duty was imposed. In December 2025, a sunset review was initiated.
