In May 2019, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of ceramic tile from China. In September 2019, a provisional duty was imposed. In July 2020, a definitive duty was imposed. In May 2025, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in February 2026 (notice published in March 2026).
