United States of America: Extension of definitive countervailing duties on imports of carbon and alloy steel threaded rod from China and India

In March 2019, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of carbon and alloy steel threaded rod from China and India. The investigation is still in progress. In July 2019, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In April 2020, a definitive duty was imposed. In July 2023, an anti-circumvention investigation on imports from China was initiated. In November 2024, a sunset review was initiated, and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in June 2025.
