In April 2018,, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of laminated woven sacks from Viet Nam. The investigation is still in progress. In August 2018, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress. In June 2019, a definitive duty was imposed. In May 2024, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in November 2024.
